How Lexus Extra Care pricing works
Lexus Extra Care plans are sold through Lexus dealers. We only have a little data so far. One GX owner posted a $4,875 local quote for 8 yrs/75k, while another paid $2,300 for 7 yrs/100k (different coverage, so not directly comparable).
Is it the same plan if I buy from another dealer? Not independently verified yet.
In general, the manufacturer sets a cost for each plan, and the dealer selling it decides how much to add on top. That's why the same contract can be priced very differently by two dealers. Before you sign anything, check the plan name, term, deductible, start date/mileage, and cancellation terms in writing.
